Hidden Charms.

Lately, I’ve been really feeling the lure of getting back into scrapping and jewelry making. Today I saw a charm bracelet that one of my friends had on. It had neat charms I didn’t even know you could get. She had some really cute travel charms and milestone charms too. Once I get back into the swing of things, I really want to give making one for me (and little A) a whirl. Maybe we can make it a mother-daughter project.

Dear Monday,

You are trying REALLY hard to mess with me. I started the day with a cheerful attitude even though the kids had two hour late start, which meant that by the time I got the last of my children out of the house, it was time for the first of my children to return, but I was still cool. Then I called to thank my mother for the cute clothes she sent my daughter and found out she was in the hospital. Still was trying to maintain and thought it would be nice to take a photo with my cell phone camera in the skirt that Little A was loving in the care package. And she knocked the phone out of my hand and onto the floor. And the on button doesn’t work anymore. And the phone company told me it wasn’t covered by my extended warranty. I’m still not going to say that you suck like most people do, but you sure are testing me.

Sincerely,
TJ

Clip ons

A few weeks ago I saw some nice glass beads and some carved black beads. I I actually had plans to make a statement necklace with the black beads and a matching pair of earrings. Let’s just say that my youngest had a liking for the beads and the earrings survived. Since the glass is a bit big for hooks or leverbacks (the beads alone are two inches long), I thought they were perfect to be clip ons. I’m still learning. One of my goals for the coming year is to take my jewelry to the next level. When I find out what that is, I’ll let you know. :)

New beginnings.

Last night I started writing on what may become a short story or a book or even two books. It all began with two ideas about two distinct women. Maybe they will meet or are already related (short story(ies)) and maybe they won’t (book(s)). I’m pretty excited about them and I’ll let you know about their progress, you know, as I get stuff written down. :)
