Hairless men?

Around the time I finished high school, I noticed that some of the boys had started shaving their chests. I thought they were swimmers or something and shrugged it off. As the years have passed, men are really into hair removal now. I could see it maybe for some chest or back hair, but armpits and bikini waxes (having an unpleaseant flashback of the manwax post from about a year ago)? I have always thought that there was something, well,a bit manly about a man with some hair on him. Isn’t that part of the propaganda against women, that the hair on them makes them less feminine? Then why would anybody want a man smoother than they are? What do you think?
