GM has filed for bankruptcy.

They will be closing 14 plants and 3 parts distribution centers and eliminating over 21,000 jobs. Has anyone heard about restructuring over at AIG? Probably not.

I like Al’s Book Club

Al Roker has a book club on the Today Show focused toward kids. I think it is a great idea because it can be a challenging thing to keep the kids interested in reading with the ease and volume of information available on a computer. Computers are good, but I think books offer so much in the way of expanding the world of a child. The last couple of selections will be great ways to keep my son occupied when he has “nothing to do” this Summer.
