BellaSugar’s post reminded me of a recent experience I had watching one of Phylicia Rashad’s interviews about why she decided to do Jenny Craig and become a spokesperson. She said she talked to some of her friends about it and they asked why she’d want to lose weight. She said she told them how much she weighed and the response she got was, “Really? You carry it well.” She responded that she did not want to carry it any more. It really got me to thinking about some of the junk I have become accustomed to carrying around over the years. Maybe I’ll get a Spring makeover too!

A manila folder would have come in handy
Hindsight is 20/20 isn’t it? The most powerful antiterrorist officer in Great Britain has resigned because he was photographed carrying very sensitive information. Just out there. Specific details of terrorist threats abroad, operation to round up terrorists, all out there with top secret across the top, no doubt. The news media has been barred from revealing the contents of the paper, but unless the photo I saw has been specially treated, that information can be obtained from that image. Not to mention that some media people would share the information given the proper motivation.
